Subject: Linux on Android devices

I don't have an Android device yet, but hope to get a tablet soon.
However, some mention was made last night at the NSLUG meeting at Dal
about the limitations and differences between 'standard' linux commands
and Android commands, so just for curiosity I Googled several queries
today:
    android Debian linux commands
and
    android linux commands

The first one, incidentally, mentions a Debian Kit for Android, which
will install a full version of Debian or Ubuntu on your Android phone or
tablet, side-by-side with Android.
