1. First, make sure that your /boot/grub/device.map is correct, e.g.

/boot/grub/device.map might contain:

(hd0) /dev/sda

or possibly by UUID:

(hd0) /dev/disk/by-id/ata-WDC_WD10EADS-00M2B0_WD-WCAV51636702

2. Then, make sure grub is correctly installed to your MBR, e.g.
assuming /dev/sda is your boot drive, run (as root):

grub-install /dev/sda

3. Verify you have the package 'os-prober' installed.

4. Make sure your grub.cfg has a valid entry for Windows 7. Run (as root):

update-grub

The resulting /boot/grub/grub.cfg should now have a valid entry for
Windows 7, and when you reboot, you should be able to boot both into
your Squeeze system and Windows 7.
