For those wanting to watch shows on the BBC (although I can't think why)
have you heard of http://linuxcentre.net/getiplayer ?  To use it though you
will need a proxy or ssh tunnel to the UK so you get a UK IP address.

It is quite handy for grabbing a show for off line viewing on Linux.
