can't be port forwarding (well it can be but..) since he states via local
http://IP no workie.

service iptables off
/etc/rc.d/init.d/ipstables stop

http://IP

A telnet IP 80
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: IP/hostname

Would also tell us if its working for getting refused.
