Googling: "loki software" failure

Results in http://www.linux.com/feature/22324 as the 3rd hit. It has a lot
of background info into why Loki failed and the total shambles the company
was left in after filing chapter 11.

In regards to your opening post you dropped in an article which is just an
op-ed without any real technical merits. It's not really worth discussing on
nSLUG as there's no conversation of the stumbling blocks, new API or
standardization, or real world developers issues and how they get around
problems. If you want to "discuss" topics like this, please keep it off list
and try our IRC channel (for info see http://nslug.ns.ca/index.php/Irc )

Please let this thread die, and respond to admin at nslug.ns.ca if you have
further issues.
