You will need the nvidia closed source drivers to get decent OpenGL
performance. I don't believe those drivers ship with FC5. There should
be multiple Howtos on installing those drivers under Fedora. (you may
just need to download and install the drivers directly from
Nvidia.com) Watch out that you get the right driver bundle. The
lastest nvidia drivers do not support the TNT2.
