Its been a while since I looked at smartctl, but IIRC, if the tools can
parse out what those errors mean then the vendor hasn't told anyone what
they mean.

Its possible that a newer version can, so see if you have the most
recent version of smartctl. If you get the same from the most recent
version, I think your SOL.
