Indeed, Eastlink and MPowered (Aliant DSL) are filtering outgoing
e-mail on their consumer high speed connections.
The other thing to remember when using your ISP's SMTP server is that
they often have quotas on the amount of mail that you can send. If you
exceed your quota they can blacklist you for a set amount (30 min?).
This can of course cause a backlog of outgoing mail which will just
mean that you will continue to be blacklisted.
